Although the TYSA-2 system was developed for the mainline freight locomotive 2te116, it can be adapted to other types of two-section locomotives, electric locomotives, and multiple unit trains

The equipment installation was carried out at Dnipropetrovsk locomotive repair plant

During the modernization of the locomotive, a number of devices of our production were installed, namely:

1. Temperature monitoring system for axlebox and motor-axle bearings TERMOCON-3
2. Set of headlights SLR-4/36
3. Set of buffer lights LWR-1
4. Locomotive body lamps LKK-2
5. Driver’s cab lamps LKM-4

The modernization of the locomotive was carried out jointly with the Latvian locomotive repair plant AS "Daugavpils Lokomotīvju Remonta Rūpnīca"
