System purpose
The system is designed for temperature monitoring of axle boxes and motor-axle bearings of traction motors and for signaling when temperature limits are reached
System ensures
- Temperature measurement of axle box bearings and motor-axle bearings
- Indication of the sensor location that recorded the temperature exceedance
- Issuance of an audible alarm "ALARM"
- Indication of a fault in the system
- Connection with another section via CAN

Temperature indication panel
The PITC-3 unit is designed to display on the screen information about the temperature of sensors located at temperature measurement points on the locomotive bogies, the status of the sensors, and to issue an audible warning signal when temperature thresholds are exceeded at measurement points

Temperature status analyzerv
The AST-03 units measure temperature at control points using analog sensors DT-B and DT-M (Pt1000 type) while diagnosing the sensor status. Information about the temperature at control points and the sensor status is transmitted from the CAN 2.0 information buses to the PITC-3 unit of its section of the locomotive
